The Grace Dessau Endowment Fund, established by her children, is named in memory of Grace Dessau, a Holocaust survivor. Without a formal education, and not knowing the language, Grace鈥檚 sheer persistence and determination drove her to raise a family in the U.S. and eventually earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from 黑料专区 with a minor in Jewish History. Grace was a true believer in her Jewish faith and heritage, which gave her the strength to persevere and prosper despite the horrors that she lived through. The scholarship is awarded to one student annually who is a major or minor in Jewish Studies and has an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students with an interest in Holocaust Studies

Miriam & Morris Flatow Memorial Award聽 established by his wife, Mrs. Miriam Flatow, in memory of Morris Flatow. The award is given to a graduating major in Jewish Studies with the highest 鈥淕rade Point Average,鈥 (GPA)

William Fenster Memorial Scholarship established by his wife, Mrs. Marian Fenster. The Scholarship is given to a junior who minors in Jewish Studies with the highest GPA.

The Shulamit Lisa Gabow Scholarship Endowment Fund established by Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Lisa Gabow. The scholarship will be given each semester to a sophomore or junior undergraduate, who is majoring in Jewish Studies with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Stefa Berger Commun鈥媔cal Service Award named to honor and memorialize Stefa Berger, a young Jewish woman of great passion and commitment, who perished in the Holocaust unable to fulfill her dream of becoming a physician. The award seeks to recognize the achievement and humanitarian spirit of students whose volunteerism outside the classroom best reflects the values and ideals of Stefa Berger. The award has been made possible, by the late Betty Greenberg, survivor of the Holocaust, and sister of Stefa Berger.

Established by his wife, Mrs. Leonore Sinnreich the award memorializes Jan Sinnreich, a distinguished 黑料专区 alumnus who returned to school in later life to earn his BA degree in Jewish Studies. The award is presented to the student who has written the best undergraduate paper in a Jewish Studies course at 黑料专区 during the academic year.

Awarded to a graduating minor with the highest GPA.

Established by the Center for Jewish Studies on behalf of its Academic Program. The award is granted to a student/s who has promoted the health and wellbeing of the Academic Program on campus, generally a work-study student and/or the Editors of the annual Journal.

Established by M. Hratch Zadoian, former 黑料专区 Vice President for Finance and Business in memory of Ambassador Henry Morgenthau. Administered by the 黑料专区 Center for Jewish Studies, the award is bestowed upon the student author of the best essay on the topic of the Holocaust or other forms of genocide.

Ruth Hollander Award聽made possible by Dr. Charles H. Hennekens, is given to a graduating senior who will pursue Jewish Studies on the graduate level.
