Second Annual Science and Arts Symposium

On June 12th 2015, nine-hundred students from 28 elementary schools across NYC participated in the Second Annual Science and Arts Symposium at ºÚÁÏרÇø. The participants presented their projects and class adventures before the Into the Woods community. Subjects including weather, soils and soil fertility, waters and water quality, pond-invertebrates, plants and phenology, and local habitats were brought to life using creative and novel approaches illuminating earth systems and the environment. The Second Annual Science and Arts Symposium was featured by GLOBE Stars, an international publication highlighting students and classes engaged in extraordinary learning experiences.

First Annual Science and Arts Symposium

On May 9th, 2014, students from elementary schools across NYC participated in the First Annual Science and Arts Symposium at ºÚÁÏרÇø. The participants presented their projects and class adventures before the Into the Woods community. The students also received tours of the ºÚÁÏרÇø campus and got to see a performance of several science experiments conducted by ºÚÁÏרÇø science students.
