These include tuition, mandatory\u200b fees, material\/transportation fees and other miscellaneous fees.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span>All tuition and fees listed in this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/br\/tuition-costs\/\">Schedule<\/a> and in any registration material issued by the college are subject to change without prior notice. In the event of an increase, payments already made to the college will be treated as partial payments, and notification will be given of the additional amount due and the time and method of payment.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span><em>Note<\/em>: The Bursar\u2019s primary method of communication to students is via email. This notice will direct the student to CUNYfirst to view the semester\u2019s bill and advise them to review the Bursar Information Letter for detailed information.<\/p>\n<p>Each semester\u2019s Bursar Information Letter, available on the Bursar\u2019s website, contains the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">&#8211; Payment Due Dates: indicates when payment is due at the college<br \/>&#8211; Liability Schedule: indicates tuition\/fee liability based on when courses are dropped\/withdrawn<br \/>&#8211; Payment Options: includes online, payment plan, and in-person options<\/p>\n<p>Once registered, the student has assumed financial responsibility. The student is responsible for identifying their due date, and making sure their bill is paid by the due date. If the student chooses not to attend, courses must be dropped before the first official day of the term. Failure to do so automatically entails a financial obligation based on the liability schedule posted in the semester\u2019s Bursar Information Letter.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;Open Sans||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; header_4_font=&#8221;Open Sans|600|||on||||&#8221; header_4_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span><em>Note<\/em>:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span>&#8211; A stop payment on a check or credit card, non-attendance in class, or informing a college representative\u00a0of a withdrawal does not constitute official withdrawal or relieve the student of tuition\/fee liability. Courses must be dropped in <a href=\"https:\/\/ssologin.cuny.edu\/cuny.html?resource_url=https%3A%2F%2Fhome.cunyfirst.cuny.edu%252Fpsp%252Fcnyepprd%252FEMPLOYEE%252FEMPL%252Fh%252F%3Ftab%253DDEFAULT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CUNYfirst<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\">&#8211; If registered for an e-permit, late registration and change of program fees, if incurred, must be paid to the host college as well as any material and transportation fees associated with the courses.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ms-rteFontSize-2\"><span>&#8211; Changes made to a student\u2019s registration on\/after the first official day of classes may incur charges. Students should consider their potential for increased liability, due to swapped and\/or dropped courses, before making changes to their semester schedule.<\/span><\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;Open Sans||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; header_4_font=&#8221;Open Sans|600|||on||||&#8221; header_4_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>BEWARE- Add\/Drop and Swapping of Classes and Tuition Charges<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8211; Swapping is the dropping of one course and the adding of another course of the same number of credits, and cost\u00a0<\/span>within a seven-day period during the percentage liability period. This function allows for the student to add\/drop during the liability period without incurring a percentage liability. Only an $18 change of program fee will be incurred.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Summer session \u2013 There are four sub sessions in Summer Session (4W1, 6W1, 4W2, 6W2). Swapping courses between classes in different sub sessions will incur tuition percentage liability charges.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Students who drop\/swap or withdraw from a previously swapped class are liable for a percentage charge based on the liability schedule. For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You registered for ART 100<\/li>\n<li>You swapped ART\u00a0100 for ART 201(on\/after the first day of the term) during the percentage liability period<\/li>\n<li>You dropped or withdrew from ART 201 or swapped ART 201 for ART 202 (on\/after the first day of the term) during the percentage liability period\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Result: You are now responsible for a percentage charge for ART 100 and ART 201.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Multiple Class Changes may result in several tuition liability charges\u200b<span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;Open Sans||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; header_4_font=&#8221;Open Sans|600|||on||||&#8221; header_4_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>Cancellation for Non-Payment<\/h4>\n<p>Failure to pay a tuition\/fee bill by the due date listed in that semester&#8217;s Bursar Information Letter may result in the cancellation of the student\u2019s registration for the semester.<\/p>\n<p>Students who are cancelled for non-payment may have an opportunity to re-register using <a href=\"https:\/\/ssologin.cuny.edu\/cuny.html?resource_url=https%3A%2F%2Fhome.cunyfirst.cuny.edu%252Fpsp%252Fcnyepprd%252FEMPLOYEE%252FEMPL%252Fh%252F%3Ftab%253DDEFAULT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CUNYfirst<\/a>, however, the courses\/sections a student was originally registered for are often no longer available after cancellation occurs.<\/p>\n<p>For the purpose of cancellation only, anticipated aid, when visible on the student\u2019s account, will hold the student\u2019s registration.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;Open Sans||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; header_4_font=&#8221;Open Sans|600|||on||||&#8221; header_4_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>Student Holds<\/h4>\n<p>Students with outstanding debts for any tuition, fees, housing, parking violations, breakage, emergency loans, etc. that are past due will have holds placed on their registration, transcripts, grades, and diplomas.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;Open Sans||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; header_4_font=&#8221;Open Sans|600|||on||||&#8221; header_4_text_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>Return of Unearned Military Tuition Assistance<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Specific to qualifying service member students receiving Department of Defense tuition assistance, 黑料专区 complies with the Department of Defense\u2019s policy relating to unearned tuition assistance. When a service member student\u2019s course(s) is cancelled by 黑料专区 or the service member student does not attend the term session, 100% of the Tuition Assistance payment received will be returned to the Department of Defense.
