Step 1: CUNY Application

Please complete and submit the CUNY Application:
The 鈥 allows you to apply to multiple CUNY colleges with one application.
  • The freshman application now requires an essay and at least one academic .
  • Currently enrolled CUNY students should apply with the CUNY Application.
  • Please note that the application deadlines on the CUNY website are suggested deadlines. We will continue to review applications after deadlines and will post any updates here.
  • Apply to the Macaulay Honors College (Fall only).

Step 2: Supporting Documents

After submitting your application, please send all required documents needed for review.
Freshman Information
  • As a freshman applicant, you鈥檒l need to provide us with your official high school transcript(s). Your should include all of the courses and grades that you鈥檝e completed up until this point.
  • The freshman application now requires an and at least one academic .
  • If you have taken courses at a college or university during your High School year, please provide us with your official Transcript.
    • Disclaimer: We are only able to accept official transcripts sent directly to us from your college(s)
  • SATs and ACTs are optional effective from Fall 2023 through Spring 2025.
  • Freshman applicants can apply to up to 6 CUNY colleges with one application fee.

All official domestic transcripts can be sent to:

If you need to request a transcript from your foreign school:

  • Complete the and send it to your foreign school. They should be able to send your transcripts to CUNY either electrically or by mail.

, a credential evaluation service, has created a custom application for CUNY Queens students that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate ($170 for the evaluation) . You can access their application by聽.

Transfer Information
  • As a transfer applicant, you鈥檒l need to provide us with official transcripts from each school attended. You may request your transcripts to be sent electronically or via mail to CUNY/UAPC. Below is a list of documents that applicants are asked to provide:
    • An official High School Transcript or Equivalency Diploma聽(ex: GED)
    • An official transcript from each college/university attended
    • An official transcript from each proprietary school attended (if applicable)

    CUNY Transcripts
    If you鈥檙e currently enrolled at CUNY, your transcripts will be retrieved automatically if you apply using your CUNYfirst account.聽 If you attended CUNY more than ten years ago, please request a paper record.
